Electronic Waste Disposal
As a distributor we have to comply with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive as per government guidelines.
August Computers takes our companies impact to the environment seriously; we are constantly developing and evaluating our own business model to reduce our overall carbon footprint to do our bit for the planet.
We use M.O.D. and N.H.S approved methods to physically destroy your magnetic media.
We have the ability to do this on your premises, giving you total peace of mind whilst guaranteeing both your and your customer's data is destroyed before it ever leaves your company.
We will provide all the relevant documentation for disposing of EEE including the paper trail, as required by the WEEE Directive. We have all the applicable licences required to collect and recycle Electronic or Electrical Equipment (EEE) which we are able to do at our Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF).
As part of our business strategy and using some joined up thinking ?EUR~August Computers?EUR(TM) recognises the value added benefit to business and as such provides this service to our clients completely free of charge.
